"Sometimes all you need is a little spark.".

Hi, my name is Amber!

With ten years of experience as a professional vocalist playing shows and festivals in Canada and the UK, and seven years of professional/ private training I'm here to be the resource I didn't have growing up in my teens and early twenties.

If you are looking to learn to sing, prepare for a performance, or just gain a little more confidence and try something new for the first time I'm here to support you every step of the way!

You have the option to do just one group class a month, two, or all of them. Each class topic is voted on the week before by those who have signed up ahead of time.

They range from one very specific topic -- for example: different types of breathing for singing and screaming, to a very broad scope of things such as analyzing your favourite vocalist and what they are doing live and how they are achieving the sounds they are making with their voice.

Each class is an hour and a half long with a thirty minute question and answer period at the end. (Due to the volume of people there is not enough time for individual instruction. If you would like personalized feedback and help with your voice please ask about private lessons.).

Artist Development:

 $200 a month.

For students who want to help develop their vocals, songwriting, and artistry.

Four lessons a month where we will focus on vocal technique for your own original songs, arrange studio time for you to record your songs where I can be there in person or virtually to give feedback, help you track, give your best performance on the day, pitch it to playlisting, and have a recital performance for it at the end of the year. Some of my students have been featured in Spotify editorial playlists such as All New Metal, Kick Ass Metal, The Core, and Release Radar.

Speak. Sing. Scream. Soar.

"When I started with Amber I had no vocal experience at all. I'd never even tried singing in the shower. She took things as slow as I needed and really respected when I needed to take breaks during lessons or got nervous about something. She never pushed me to do something I wasn't comfortable with and never makes me feel bad for making mistakes because that's part of the fun. It's how you grow. It's been a year and a half and I still take weekly lessons with her to this day.".

-- Verity .B.

"Very knowledgeable and patient even when my daughter wanted to sing the same song every week for one month straight. She even went out of her way to move her schedule around to accommodate a hockey tournament we had to make sure we could still do a lesson that week.".

-- Michelle .L.

"Amber really tailors each and every lesson to what you want to learn and what goals you have in mind both short and long term. I started out just wanting to learn how to sing so I could record covers in my bedroom to share with my friends and family and that was great but when I brought up that I wanted to be in a band and play shows she was nothing but supportive. Two years later we are now getting me ready for my first two week tour and I couldn't be more excited.".

-- Marissa .M.

"Amber has helped me gain my confidence back after taking a two year break from doing any kind of vocals. I was really hesitant at first but we worked from the ground up familiarizing me with the foundational basics first and then building my technique and vocal tools up step by step from there. I have ADHD and sometimes I have trouble focusing and remembering certain instructions or homework from lessons and she is always happy to repeat something and send me detailed notes of things to work on in between lessons. I always leave learning something new and it's the highlight of my day when I finally nail something that we've been working on for weeks.".
