Hi, I'm Amber!

​

Learning to sing or scream is a very personal, emotional,

and vulnerable experience. It's a marathon not a sprint. I want to be the resource I didn't have when I was younger.

​

I enjoy the fact that every voice is different and every body is different in the way it learns something. That deserves to be celebrated. It allows me to try out different techniques and different ways of teaching. I also personally still take lesson to keep up to date with new techniques and better myself as a teacher.

 

I'm a big advocate for women and female representation in music and I love helping girls find their confidence and feel powerful through doing vocals as that's something I didn't have growing up.

 

Growing up all of my vocal idols were men. Not that there's anything wrong with that. If I had seen more women on stage and in my local community performing I would have started my vocal journey sooner.

​

My favourite movie is School Of Rock and even though it's not a very accurate description of how music lessons work today one of my big goals is to open a School Of Rock Franchise here is Bracebridge one day where I can hold full-band lessons for kids age five and up.

​

When I’m not teaching I enjoy working on music of my own (debut EP coming in 2026.)., and playing with my dog Lou and my cat Ethan.
